Claytie Mason is an award-winning documentarian who uses her writing, direction, theatre, and filmmaking to explore issues related to loss, grief, and the end of life.
In addition to her work as a writer and director, Claytie facilitates community events that openly talk about death and dying, as well as helping individuals discover/tell/record their story as they approach the last embodied chapter.
Claytie received her MFA in playwriting from Columbia University with a focus on Narrative Medicine. She is a founding member of Nebunele, an internationally-based collaborative theatre and performance art company.
